Our HERstory
My Sissy and I were each others first friends of life, we were neighbors in a small village on Long Island, NY, our parents were close friends and our Dads were coworkers. Ironically we were both adopted also, which made our bond even closer, what are the odds? And although our stories were different, our pain was the same, we both knew abandonment and shame, we were Kindred Spirits.
I had never known life without My Sissy, until January 2023 when she got her wings due to complications of back surgery. I was shocked, stunned and stuck, how was I supposed to live without her? We had so many plans… places to go, things to do...…
